The Vianney Vision Campaign
for Saint John Vianney High School
The Vianney Vision Campaign is a multi-year initiative dedicated to revitalizing, modernizing, and enhancing Saint John Vianney High School for the next generation of Lancers. Rooted in our Catholic mission and commitment to excellence, this long-term endeavor will maximize our campus, strengthen our programs, and ensure that SJV students have competitive, state-of-the-art facilities in which to grow and develop as they ignite, serve, explore, and inspire.
Through strategic, phased investments, The Vianney Vision will transform key spaces across campus, elevating both the student experience and the broader community that calls Saint John Vianney home. Each phase of the campaign is designed to build upon the last, creating lasting impact while honoring the traditions and values that have defined Saint John Vianney for decades.
Phase I of The Vianney Vision Campaign will focus on the complete transformation of the school’s gymnasium, reimagining it as a premier space for athletics, school spirit, and community life. Upon completion, this space will be dedicated as the Sister Bernadette Larson, MSC Center for Athletics & Activities, in honor of a beloved and enduring presence in the life of the school.More than a gym, it will serve as a central hub for competition, celebration, worship, and gathering, supporting everything from athletic events and assemblies to Masses and alumni engagement.
The Vianney Vision Campaign is an investment in the future of our students, our mission, and our community. Together, we will build a stronger, more vibrant Saint John Vianney High School for generations to come.

When I think of Sister B, I always smile, remembering her warm hugs and sharp sense of humor on the basketball sidelines. She was more than just a mentor — she was a true friend and played a central role in shaping who I am. SJV gave me my foundation, but it was Sister B’s steady love and loyalty that made it meaningful. I hope I can have as lasting an impact on others as she has had on me.

Sister B was absolutely one of the most caring, supportive, and understanding faculty members at St. John Vianney High School. Her door was always open and she was always there to listen and support with no judgement. I always remember seeing her face at every single one of our sporting events, cheering us on and helping bring our spirits up even when we lost. I especially remember her as a part of our family, supporting us as we went through the loss of our mom.

When I was starting SJV, I was one of the only students coming from my middle school. I was nervous about starting all over again, but also knew that my mom, aunt, and uncle graduated from SJV. As soon as I arrived, Sister Bernedette was one of the first people to greet me. She immediately made me feel comfortable and I knew she would be someone I could trust and count on. Her door was always open for me and I knew she was more like family than just a staff member.
