The role of the school is to build upon, complement and enhance, develop and nurture what has already been learned at home, especially from parents, in a child’s first few years of life.
Saint John Vianney High School is committed to providing a nurturing environment for students that encourages individual growth and development on all levels. We ensure not only academic and spiritual learning, but also exciting athletic activities. Our high school athletics program offers more than 30 different varsity sports, as well more than 30 club activities.

We are proud of our high school athletics facilities at Saint John Vianney High School. Our campus features 38 acres of land that include athletic fields, a six-lane track, two baseball fields, two softball fields, a soccer field, a lacrosse field, and a field hockey field. We also have a lighted turf athletic stadium. Our indoor facilities feature:
- State-of-the-art weight training room
- Indoor Vianney Activity Center (Bubble or VAC)
At the end of the season, athletes are rewarded for their hard work and personal progress at an annual banquet. We regularly update the Hall of Fame with the names of especially accomplished athletes or teams, making sure each athlete is congratulated for noteworthy accomplishments.
Students are welcome to participate in our strength and conditioning training, designed to help athletes excel in a variety of different sports. The program goals of this training involve preparing athletes to participate in sports programs safely and to compete successfully. Weight training has been found to be especially effective for building strength, enhancing performance, and improving agility.
