SEVEN SJV STUDENT-ATHLETES COMMIT TO DIVISION I SCHOOLS

Saint John Vianney High School is proud to announce that seven student-athletes have committed to continuing their academic and athletic careers at Division I colleges and universities. This achievement reflects the dedication, effort, and excellence that each of these students has demonstrated in both their academics and athletics..


The following student-athletes have made their commitments:

  • Taylor Sofilkanich, Basketball - Duke University

  • Stella Lockhart, Basketball - Georgetown University

  • Madison Kocis, Basketball - University of Pennsylvania

  • Christina Fallon, Gymnastics - Michigan State University

  • Madison McDougall, Softball - Monmouth University

  • Gabby Gonzalez, Softball - Florida International University

  • Amelia Moro, Volleyball - Sacred Heart University


SJV President Steven DiMezza said, “We are incredibly proud of our student athletes who have earned the opportunity to compete at the Division I level. Their dedication in the classroom and on the field truly reflects the values of hard work, faith, and excellence that define the SJV community.”


Saint John Vianney High School congratulates these student-athletes and their families on this significant milestone and wishes them well in all their future endeavors.
