
JROTC Camp

The Saint John Vianney High School Air Force JROTC is hosting an exciting opportunity this coming summer for 8th grade students. The camp will take place at Saint John Vianney High School July 27-30 from 8:30-11:30 AM, and introduce students to the Air Force Core Values of Integrity First, Service Before Self and Excellence In All We Do. Instruction will focus on building confidence, discipline and teamwork in a supportive and high-energy environment.
During the 4-day camp, students will participate in:

Course Overview: Instructors will provide a thorough overview of Air Force JROTC, emphasizing our mission to deliver a cadet-led program.

Drill: Learn the fundamentals of marching, calling commands and working within a team while developing discipline and attention to detail.

Fitness: Engage in workouts to build strength and endurance. Also learn about ways to make your overall wellness a top priority.

Obstacle Courses: Participate in exciting physical challenges with AFJROTC Raider team members focused on teamwork and problem-solving..

Team-Building Exercises: Participate within a team to strengthen communication skills, trust and leadership abilities.
This event will be led by experienced JROTC instructors with over 40 years of combined military service to the US Air Force, along with current cadet leadership from the program. Whether students are interested in leadership, athletics, or trying out a unique program that SJV offers, the Saint John Vianney High School AFJROTC Summer Camp promises to be a memorable experience.
