The Saint John Vianney High School academic program offers a challenging, well-rounded, college prep curriculum in a positive learning environment that facilitates student achievement at all levels of learning.
With general College Prep, Honors, Advanced Placement, and Dual Enrollment courses, we prepare our students for the challenges of college and productive citizenship, and guide them toward the achievement of their personal goals.
Saint John Vianney High School offers its students an extensive variety of learning opportunities. With our 4x4 block schedule, our students choose eight courses each year in Business and Technology, English, Fine Arts, Mathematics, Physical Education and Health, Religious Studies, Science, Social Studies, or World Languages. Classes within each discipline integrate the Catholic Social Teachings and advanced technology. Through our one-to-one Tablet laptop program, our academic departments are constantly breaking ground in digital education through the use of the Tablet computers, wireless Internet, SMART Board interactive whiteboards, multimedia production software and projection equipment, e-texts, and other online resources.
Saint John Vianney High School is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges, and our academic curriculum follows, and in many areas exceeds, the guidelines established by the New Jersey Department of Education through its New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards, as well as the guidelines established by the Diocese of Trenton.
