Jennifer Ganter Kleinert ‘86- Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer (COO) with Citi Group, Inc.

Jennifer became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) within the Institutional Client Group’s (ICG) Operations and Technology Team in October, 2014. Prior to this role, Jennifer was the ICG O&T’s Lead Finance Officer since July, 2013. As COO, Jennifer works closely with the Global Head of ICG O&T and the senior leadership team to develop, implement, and manage the business strategies and helping meet targets.

Prior to supporting ICG O&T, Jennifer was the Head of Planning and Analysis with ICG for more than 7 years and ran Strategic Expense Planning for ICG for 1 year. Jennifer also worked in the Financial Control division for 13 years most recently managing P&L reporting, RACE reporting (daily revenue estimate process), and the Smith Barney Financial Control group.

Jennifer joined the firm in 1991 from Bear Stearns. Throughout her career, Jennifer has been active in many mentoring initiatives, Women’s Organizations, and diversity programs. Some of the activities include leading the Citi - ICG O&T Women Organization, establishing a 3 year Deaf Internship Program at Citi about 15 years ago, and previously served on the Business Advisory Board of Just One Break (dedicated to increasing employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities).

She graduated from Susquehanna University. She and her husband, Roy, live in Morganville, NJ with their daughters, Darby ‘18 and Payton ‘21 who also attend SJV. Jennifer serves as the President to the Saint John Vianney High School Advisory Board.

Michele Capasso Boyer ‘88- Attorney and Owner of The Boyer Law Firm

Michele has been practicing law since 2000 and opened the Boyer Law Firm in 2013.

Michele has been in private practice since 2006 and has experience in various areas of the law including Real Estate, Workers Compensation, Wills and Estate, Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation, Landlord and Tenant issues, and Insurance Defense.

Prior to opening The Boyer Law Firm, she worked for the Insurance defense firm of Abilheira and Associates. Here Michele primarily represented trucking companies that had accidents and homeowners that had warranty issues. Additionally, in her time at Abilheira and Associates, Michele handled many real estate transactions as well as worker’s compensation from the insurance side.

Michele has participated in many trials in small claims courts and represented clients on countless motions in civil and criminal court.

Michele received her undergraduate degree from Kean University and graduated cum laude. She graduated from Seton Hall Law School in Newark and worked for six years as a Deputy Attorney General with the State of New Jersey, Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

Michele is also a pool attorney with the Public Defender’s Office. She has been a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association since 2013 and is the Vice Chair of Saint John Vianney High School, Advisory Counsel. Michele resides in Monmouth County and has a daughter Emily ’21 attending SJV.

Peter McGuigan ‘77- CPA, Partner with WithumSmith+Brown

Pete is a licensed certified public accountant in the states of New Jersey and New York and has more than 30 years of professional experience in federal, multi-state, and international taxation as well as business consulting and mergers and acquisitions.

Pete graduated from Montclair State College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Pete founded and managed McGuigan Tombs & Company, CPAs for 26 years before joining his firm with WithumSmith+Brown in August 2016.

Pete has served on various committees of the NJCPA and has lectured on various technical tax subjects at seminars conducted by the Society as well.

Pete is also actively involved in various community and business organizations. He currently serves as First Vice President of the Board of Trustees of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth and Middlesex Counties and takes a lead role on the organization’s Finance Committee. Currently, Pete is an active member of the Finance Committee at Manasquan River Golf Club. Pete is a former Board of Trustees member for Special Olympics of New Jersey and has also served on the Board of Directors of a publicly-held company in the role of financial expert, pursuant to, and in compliance with, Sarbanes-Oxley.

Pete and his wife, Laura, live in Wall Townsip and have four daughters.

Kim Pillar- Managing Director, Head of Human Resources with Lenox Advisors

Kim Pillar is Head of Human Resources for Lenox Advisors, a boutique Wealth Management firm with an emphasis on Insurance wholly owned by NFP. Kim joined Lenox Advisors in 2011. Kim is responsible for all aspects of human resources including Leadership and Development, Compensation, Recruiting, and Benefits. Kim has additional experience in acquisitions, business reorganizations, succession planning, project management, leadership development, and diversity

She holds a Master Degree in Human Resources and Bachelor Degree in Business Management. She is also a member of the SHRM Organization.

Kim also serves as a board member for the Lenox Foundation.

Kim lives in Farmingdale, NJ and is a mother to four children, Paige ‘08, Morgan ’11, Austin ‘13 and Brooke ‘16 who are all alumni of Saint John Vianney High School. In her spare time, she volunteers for various charities including the New Brunswick Children’s Specialist Hospital as a cuddler.

Vincent Vita- Senior Vice President-Team Lead, Middle Market Lending with Provident Bank.

Vincent has been with Provident Bank for two years and has over 43 years of experience in banking and previously worked for TD Bank, NA for 18 years.

Vincent holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting with a Minor in Economics from St. Peter’s University.

Vincent volunteers his time with various religious organizations including holding a Chairman position at Parish Pastoral Council, Parish of St. Mary, Colts Neck, NJ and Faith in Our Future Cohort which includes: St. Benedict, Holmdel, NJ; St. Catherine, Holmdel, NJ; St. Gabriel, Marlboro, NJ; and St. Mary, Colts Neck, NJ.

Vince resides in Colts Neck with his wife and has a son Andrew ’04 who is a graduate of SJV.

Father Tom Vala

Father Vala was born November 19, 1963 in Montclair, NJ. He graduated from Verona High School in 1981.

Father Vala earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Seton Hall University, South Orange in 1985, and earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison in 1991.

Father Vala worked as a civil servant at Fort Monmouth, Oceanport, for nearly 18 years in the fields of computer programming and database administration.

In 1987, he moved to Point Pleasant and became a member of St. Martha Parish, serving as its head usher and religious education teacher.

Father Vala entered Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall University in the fall of 2004 and graduated in 2009 with a Master's Degree in Divinity.

Father Vala was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Trenton on May 30, 2009, by Bishop John M. Smith in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton.

His first assignment was as a parochial vicar in Christ the King Parish, Long Branch. He also served as a chaplain in Monmouth Medical Center,

He then was assigned as a parochial vicar in St. Gregory the Great Parish in Hamilton Square, NJ in 2013 .

Father Vala was appointed as pastor of St. Clement Parish in May, 2016.

In addition to serving as pastor of St. Clement, he assists at SaintJohn Vianney High School.

George Destafney-President, Central Region with OCEANFIRST BANK

George manages all aspects of the bank’s customer facing initiatives including commercial lending, consumer lending, retail banking, government banking, wealth management, and cash management spanning a geography including Mercer, Monmouth, Middlesex and Ocean Counties in NJ as well as Bucks County and Philadelphia in PA. George began at OEANFIRST BANK in 2013 as the Senior Vice President/Commercial Team Leader.

George also has 18 years of banking experience and has served as Sr. Relationship Manager, Regional Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer-Vice President, and Commercial Loan Officer-Assistant Vice President for TD Bank.

George earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Monmouth University and attended the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking Program and the University Of Pennsylvania Wharton School Of Business Leadership Program.

George also volunteers his time at the United Way of Monmouth County (2010-present) as Executive Board, past chair, and on various committees.

George resides in Tinton Falls, NJ with his wife, Kerry and children Ethan and Leah.

Steve Kiselick- Vice President, Abbington Engineering, LLC.

Steve has worked for Abbington Engineering for over 35 years and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University.

Steve also holds a NJ State Board of Architects Certificate as well as a New Jersey Certified Landscape Architect Certificate and is a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

Steve resides in Manasquan with his wife Laura.

Margaret F. Boland, Ed.D- Associate Superintendent, Diocese of Trenton

Margaret has worked for the Diocese of Trenton for the Department of Catholic School for over 23 years. Early in her career, she was a Principal in the Diocese of Trenton as well as a Leader of Mathematics.

Margaret graduated from Seton Hall University with an Ed. D in Educational Leadership.

She is involved with many Religious communities, Catholic Parishes, and Catholic Educational Institutions.
