SJVHS Empowerment Club Raises Awareness About NJ's Move Over Law

For many years, Donna Setaro has shared her message with SJVHS students raising awareness for the state's Move Over Law, a law that protects law enforcement and all other emergency vehicles while on the shoulder of the road. In 2010 Setaro's son, Marc Castellano, a New Jersey State Trooper, was killed by a passing car while on duty.

Understanding the importance of Setaro's message, the SJVHS Empowerment Club raised funds to buy their own Move Over Law Sign to help bring awareness to the SJVHS community. Past and present members of the Empowerment Club joined together with Ms. Setaro to dedicate the sign to the honor of her son, Marc.
