2021 SJV Golf Outing Raises 40K for Scholarships

A big thank you to all of our alumni, family and friends who turned out in support of our 2021 SJV Scholarship Golf Outing, Monday, October 18th at Eagle Oaks Country Club. More than 120 golfers participated in this year’s event which featured more than 60 alumni and raised over $40 thousand for SJV scholarship funds. The day kicked off with lunch on the green as participating golfers took to the award-winning, Jack Nicholas-designed course to compete for awards and prizes. It concluded with dinner and an awards ceremony hosted by SJV’s own Jim Hunter (Class of ‘77). Shawn Peters (SJV Class of ‘96) and his foursome took home first place with a top score of 56. Richard Setteducati (SJV Class of ‘77) and his foursome came in second with a team score of 58. Individual awards went to Frank DiRoma (SJV Class of ‘’06) for Longest Drive and Kevin Donahue, principal at St. Benedict’s elementary school, for Closest to the Pin.
