As a result, we’ve earned national attention and respect for having a robust Catholic school curriculum and are widely recognized for all we can offer, including:
- Innovative education programs
- Community service projects
- A range of athletic and service activities
- Dual-enrollment and advanced placement (AP) learning
- Christian service programs
Our Qualified Accreditation
Saint John Vianney High School is fully accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA, CASI). This is a regional accreditation division of Cognia, formerly called AdvanceEd, an internationally recognized agency that holds schools to high standards of performance, diversity, and continuous improvement.
In addition to our NCA, CASI accreditation, we are fully committed to going above and beyond academic standards. Our curriculum meets and exceeds the guidelines established by the New Jersey Department of Education, as stated in the Core Curriculum Content Standards. We also abide by and exceed the Diocese of Trenton's educational guidelines, so you can be assured that your child’s education will be one of the very best possible.
Rooted in Catholic Values
Saint John Vianney High School was established on a Catholic foundation, and to this day, we believe that opportunity to grow in faith will encourage students to improve in other areas as well. To align with the United States Conference of Catholic of Bishops, we have implemented a threefold purpose that lies at the heart of every academic discipline we teach. This commitment is as follows:
- Message: Communicating the importance of prayer
- Community: Participating in the liturgy
- Service: Taking part in service projects
Through these three cornerstones, we hope to encourage students to grow academically, socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
