Welcome to Saint John Vianney High School!

Our school community welcomes you and invites you to see what Saint John Vianney High School is about. Our curriculum is based on the Catholic philosophy of individual growth and development – academically, socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Saint John Vianney High School works on a 4 x 4 block schedule, which allows our students more flexibility in their schedules and success with their studies. PowerSchool allows parents/guardians access to their child's progress 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Our current enrollment affords the school the opportunity to run a variety of on-site Advanced Placement and Dual-Enrollment courses and a wide variety of social and athletic programs, while still being small enough to offer a safe, family-oriented atmosphere.

In 2014, SJVHS began its Early College Academy (ECA). The ECA gives our students the opportunity to obtain an Associates Degree from Brookdale Community College during their four years of high school. Our rigorous college prep curriculum has recently been enhanced by adding a sequence of engineering courses.

The campus is completely wireless, and each student is supplied with their own tablet computer. To complement our 1-to-1 tablet program, SJVHS utilizes Canvas, a leading Learning Management System, to facilitate communication between faculty and students. Over 99.5% of our graduates go on to college and attend many of the most prestigious colleges and universities.

Our school facilities are some of the finest in Monmouth County! We have 38 acres of developed land, including fully air-conditioned classrooms and newly renovated science labs. The campus has its own athletic fields and a lighted turf stadium field. SJVHS has an air conditioned gym, a 12,000-square-foot athletic activity center, a 3,600-square-foot weight training facility, a theater, music rooms, and plenty of on-site parking. Saint John Vianney High School hosts over 33 varsity sports, most of which include JV and freshman levels. Our daily schedule allows over 35 clubs to meet during lunch, which enables students to participate in other activities after school.
