ONLINE APPLICATION AND PLACEMENT TESTING (FOR INCOMING 9TH GRADE)

Thank you for your interest in Saint John Vianney High School for the 2021-2022 academic year. Please follow the procedures listed below and do not hesitate to call the Office of Enrollment Management at 732-739-0800 Ext. 155, 117 or 252, if you have any questions. (Application Deadline is Nov. 4, 2020)

HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT (HSPT)

The HSPT will be given on Saturday, November 7, 2020. Due to Covid -19 and social distancing this year we will stagger the students time of arrival by last name. Arrival time will begin at 8:00 am. You will receive an email with strict instructions on what time your arrival is and what room you will be taking the test the week of. Upon arrival all students will have their temperatures taken and will be escorted to the room that is designated to them for testing. We ask that no parent enter the building.

REQUEST FOR RECORDS FORM

This form enables us to receive the applicant's previous academic and attendance records from their current school. This form must be completed by a parent or legal guardian of the applicant. Please return this form to the Admissions Office for forwarding to the respective schools. The Admissions Committee considers all elementary academic, attendance and extra-curricular records when making their final determination.

DECISION TIMELINE

Upon receipt of the following items, the Admissions Committee will begin to make acceptance decisions by January 2021.

    • Completed online application (including payment of the $70 application fee)
    • High School Placement Test results
    • Records from your child's current school

All admission decisions will be available for view online. Parents will be notified when decisions are available. Note: If accepted, immunizations must be up-to-date by time of course selection.
