Students are under a lot of pressure in their day to day lives and we want to do everything we can to help. Our Student Development Center was developed for exactly this reason - to help students in every way possible. Currently, we offer both SAT and HSPT prep, as well as academic enrichment courses like Study & Organizational Skills, Writing Skills Workshop and Writing the College Application Essay. Our goal is to continue to provide high-quality academic opportunities throughout the year and to aid in building skills that all successful students need.

The SAT, the standardized test for college admissions, is the most important test that students will encounter during their high school career. The SAT connects students to scholarships, merit-based aide and more. This course is geared towards preparing students for the SAT by focusing them on math problem-solving skills, critical reading skills, and writing skills in actual exam settings with concentrated skill drills.
HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT TEST PREP
Tuesdays & Thursdays (3 weeks leading up to the HSPT in November)
Afternoon Session: 3-5pm Evening Session: 6-8pm
(For students in grade 8)
This course is geared toward preparing students for the High School Placement Test, the standardized test used to assist with admissions and curriculum placement in the Catholic high schools of the Diocese of Trenton. Students will focus on the five sections that are tested on the HSPT: verbal skills, quantitative skills, reading, mathematics, and language, and will be able to implement various techniques learned in the course to ensure successful results on the test.
