Saint John Vianney High School is a ministry of the Diocese of Trenton. As such, this school follows all doctrines and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, and operates under the authority of the Bishop of the Diocese of Trenton, together with the administration of the Department of Catholic Schools.

Academies and College Courses Offered at SAINT JOHN VIANNEY HIGH SCHOOL

EARLY COLLEGE ACADEMY - In September 2014, Saint John Vianney High School welcomed its inaugural class of Early College Academy students. SJVHS’s Early College Academy provides the opportunity for select students to earn an Associate of Arts degree in Social Sciences or an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from Brookdale Community College while earning a high school diploma from Saint John Vianney.

BUSINESS ACADEMY - Launched in the Fall of 2022, this program will give students the opportunity to take college-level business courses and get a head start on their college degree in business.

COURSE AHEAD PROGRAM - Launched in the Fall of 2019, this program allows the students to take dual enrollment courses with Georgian Court University and earn college credits during their four years at Saint John Vianney High School.

DUAL-ENROLLMENT COURSES - Saint John Vianney High School has agreements with the University of Delaware, Seton Hall University, Georgian Court University, and Brookdale Community College that allows students to take additional college courses on our campus. They will receive college credit from these institutions.

AIR FORCE JUNIOR ROTC - In the Fall of 2023, Saint John Vianney High School will launch the Air Force Junior ROTC program. AFJROTC is a fully (AdvancED) academically accredited, and inclusive program that is open to all students in the 9th to 12th grades. The mission of this program is "to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community." By joining the AFJROTC, there is never any obligation to join the military.
