PLEASE NOTE: Pre-requisites are not noted on the flow charts. Please refer to the Curriculum Guide for this information.

Students are to review descriptions of the courses and consider present needs, achievements, and interests, as well as graduation requirements. Consider consulting with parents, teachers and guidance counselors for help in making course selections as well as ensuring the attainment of graduation requirements.

College Preparation

The SJV instructional program is geared toward college preparation with Honors, Advanced Placement and special interest courses available in all disciplines.

Religious Studies

As a Catholic School, St. John Vianney requires all students to take a Religious Studies course yearly.

Summer Reading Program:

SJV does require a Summer Reading component for their students in order to meet the educational expectations of the school.

The book list of choices, directions, and a rubric detailing the requirements and expected outcome of the Summer Reading requirement will be posted through a link on the SJV Home Page the beginning of June each year.
