Academic Departments

St. John Vianney High School is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges. Our academic curriculum follows the guidelines established by the New Jersey Department of Education through its New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards and in many areas exceeds the NJCCS.

Students graduate from SJVHS with more academic credits than do students who complete 12 years in public schools.

Additionally, through its student/teacher laptop program, SJVHS’s academic departments are breaking ground in digital education. Many of our textbooks link with online web instruction and are available in e-text format.

Each year we seek to expand our horizons academically to keep pace with new developments in technology, which is being utilized at the post-secondary levels.
