The Saint John Vianney Dance Team believes that the primary purpose of a dancer is to support athletic programs and to provide entertainment to the crowd during the athletic games. Dancers play an instrumental role in raising, leading and maintaining school spirit in and around the community. The dance team members are expected to be positive role models, respect all members of the school community, maintain required standard of academic performance and to fully participate in all activities designated by the coaches.
To provide entertainment to the fans and community members with a high level of difficulty and energy.
To remain a competitive team at all regional, state and national competitions.
To focus on opportunities to all dance students looking at Saint John Vianney for their future education.
To be a positive force in the school and community by sharing the art of dance as well as support through charity work.
To provide a motivating experience for all dancers by increasing technique, physical fitness, team bonding and further training to build confidence in dance and in life.
The Saint John Vianney Dance Team was founded in the 2006-07 school year. Starting as a dance club and now being recognized as a part of athletics has made this wonderful group of girls very proud. They have won regionally placing 2nd and 3rd. And look to perform nationally on a regular basis. They have also been invited to perform in the halftime performance at the Orange Bowl in Orlando, Fl. This team has dedicated and talented dancers who look forward to the future growth of this program.
