Coach, Mrs. Jayne Shalkowski has been coaching at Saint John Vianney High School since 1979-1980.  In the past the cheerleaders have achieved the following:

  • won over 20 national titles
  • won 15 state championships
  • last year won
  • NJDCCA states and Parochial States
  • won CanAm National Championships in Myrtle Beach

Summer of 2010 the Saint John Vianney Cheerleaders attended NCA cheer camp. They:

  • qualified for NCA Nationals
  • had 20 nominations for All American
  • had 3 seniors were nominated to staff
  • Won Performance Routine
  • Won Top Technical Team
  • Won Top Gun Stunt Group

Try-outs are in May. There are usually 3 squads Varsity, JV and Freshman.  Varsity is an all year round squad. JV and Feshman Try-out for football/camp team and basketball/ competition team.
