Saint John Vianney HS 2012 Test Scores

  · 97 % of the Class of 2012 (246 out of 254 students had their scores reported to the school) has taken SATs: 98% of the girls (132 out of135) and 97% of the boys (116 out of 119). 
· The SAT mean for the graduates of 2012 is 520 for Critical Reading, 526 for Mathematics, and 533 for Writing. The score for each student is the highest score verbal or math that each attained regardless of the amount of times that they took the SAT.
· The top 10 students in the class averaged 656 for Critical Reading, 662 for Mathematics, and 675 for Writing.
· The top 20% of the class (52 students) averages 614 for Critical Reading, 630 for Mathematics, and 639 for Writing.
· The top 50% of the class averages 567 for Critical Reading, 576 for Mathematics, and 586 for Writing.
· 83% of the Senior Class completed their four years with a “B” or better GPA.
· The average SAT for the “B” or better student was 531 for Critical Reading, 539 for Mathematics, and 544 for Writing.
· The average SAT score for a senior attending a four-year college was for 534 for Critical Reading, 543 for Mathematics, and 548 for Writing.

2012 Advanced Placement Test Results
· 201 students took a total of 261 exams; 3 were freshmen (World History), 32 were sophomores (taking American History, and Biology), 64 were juniors, and 102 were seniors.
· 261 Advanced Placement exams were taken in eleven different subjects.
· 260 were taken as a result of an Advanced Placement course at Saint John Vianney.

· 65% received scores of 3 or higher.
